Wicked Sound and Light is very sensitive to the nature of wedding receptions & works very hard to ensure a memorable occasion for the bride & groom. The client is asked to provide input early in the planning stages to create the itinerary, select appropriate songs, and choose any lighting. Included in all wedding packages are 2 in-home planning sessions, where a Wicked Sound and Light dj personally meets with the client to provide a level of comfort & an opportunity to finalize all details. For wedding receptions, emcee & coordination services are included in the package. The dj will act as master of ceremonies, introducing the bridal party as well as bride and groom to kick off the reception. Throughout the evening, he will also steer the reception by making the various appropriate announcements for the bride and groom's special dances, such as 1st dance, money dance and cake cutting activities. He will also interface with your other reception vendors, such as photographers, videographers and venue staff to ensure everyone is coordinated and in place for each milestone event of the evening.

To help make your once-in-a-lifetime event a memorable success, Wicked Sound and Light djs arrive attired in a tuxedo at least 1 hour prior to your designated start time to set up and perform a sound check. In addition, Wicked Sound and Light carries a $2 million liability insurance policy to protect you and your guests. Also standard practice is to have backup amplifiers, microphones and special cabling brought along to every event. Our djs remain on duty for the duration of your event, requiring no special breaks.

We also offer special customizable options to personalize your event. Have a gobo designed with your names projected onto the dance floor. Or splash the dance floor using our lighting with your special wedding colors. Or create biographies of your bridal party members to have announced during the formal introductions. Or personalize your first dance by having your vows layered over the song.
